鬼デニムが作るデニムの中でも、特に尖った存在感の『鬼斑燃（きはんねん）』。スラブ状に撚り上げた糸を、力織機の限界まで糸テンションを緩めて織ることで、他に類を見ないほど凄まじいザラつきを持つ生地です。そんなインパクトあふれる鬼斑燃に天然藍を採用したという完璧なスペックが登場しました。合成インディゴに比べ天然藍は粒子が大きく糸に染まりにくいため、何度も染めを繰り返さないと濃く染まりません。その結果、天然藍を使った糸は芯まで染まりジーンズに求められる色落ちが得られません。しかし、独自の方法で本藍のロープ染色に成功したのが鬼デニム。本藍の深みある色はそのままに糸は中白。穿き込むと表層の色が削れ、色落ちが楽しめます。シルエットはレギュラーストレート。癖の無い真っ直ぐな形は、ヴィンテージデニムのよう。着用を重ねることで、自分の体にフィットしてゆきます。生地の凹凸感により、ダイナミックな色落ちが鬼斑燃最大の特徴。そんな生地に天然藍が合わさったら…ジーンズマニアなら想像に胸が躍るはずです。
